Your personal home dust collector & dust control system:

What is house dust and why should it concern me?

The dust which collects in peoples homes is primarily composed of atmospheric dust combined with dust generated by the people & their pets, mostly from sloughed skin cells (human & pet dander) and fibers from clothing and coverings. House dust mites feed on the organic components of house dust, their feces in turn, become part of the house dust and can provoke allergic reactions in humans. A growing body of scientific evidence, as well as patients' personal experiences, shows a strong link between indoor dust and illness, especially in people with asthma and allergies.

Why do I need a dust collector system for dust control?

Typical forced air system filters are designed to protect the equipment, but not designed to trap the fine dust particles and spores that cause health problems. However, a quality MERV 8 Rating (dust collector system) offers high efficiency in removing small particles at a very reasonable cost. The small investment you will make (pennies a day) on a high efficient air filter, can not be machted to the health protection you and your family will recieve.

Dust removal with a broom, dusting cloth, or vacuum cleaner generally just stirs up and relocates the fine, harmful dust particles. The best method for dust control is a dust collector system. In forced air heating and cooling systems, where all the air in the home is filtered, our antimicrobial air filter have been tested to be 97% efficient at dust collection and dust control.
