Frequently Asked Questions
How do I Replace my old filter and install my new filter?
Always remember... WHITE OUT ! ..... That means the Orange side of the filter faces towards the unit and the white side of the filter faces out towards you.
What is the difference between your filters and the filters at my local store ?
Our filters are custom cut for your specific A/C unit and capture 90- 95% of the dust that comes into contact with the filter. Our Anti-Microbial adhesive is uniformly coated (orange-side) and acts as a biocide that effectively controls growth of mold mildew and algae. The same cannot be said for the standard filters that you would typically find at your local stores.
How do your Filters Work? How does it stop the dust?
Our filters are created with a Dual-Ply-Density (DPD) technology. The White layer is woven with a loose design to capture the larger particles in the air. While the Orange side is woven tight and spray with the Anti-Microbial adhesive to capture the smaller particles ,not visible to the naked eye.
Why do I need a Custom built Frame ?
Most times, home and business owners do not find an A/C filter that fits securely enough to capture the dust and particles that with time, damage your A/C unit. also, That same dust and particle are recycled back into the air that you and your family breathe.
How soon can I receive my Filter ?
Once an appointment is set, an installer will arrive at your home and promptly measure your A/C unit and build you a custom frame right outside your door. For non-local customer allow 48-72 hours for shipping.
How do I know when to replace my Filter ? How do I receive my filter each month ?
We recognized that memory, time and gas are obstacles when replacing your A/C filter. One of our added-value services is convenient monthly mailing of your filters.
That's right we mail you the filters each month !
That way you will remember to change your filters each month.(FPL recommends that you change your filters every 30 days) and you will save the time ,gas and headache of visiting your local hardware store.
